Just imagine for a moment the last time your water was shut off unexpectedly.We take our instant access to clean running water for granted until we don’t have it anymore. We’re so spoiled by how good we have it that we buy filters for our drinking water despite every drop coming to our homes is treated! This basic necessity is something that even the poorest in America have access to.
Yet in many parts of the world to get access to drinking water they have to travel for miles on foot. In regions where caste systems are still in place those who are seen as too low on the social order may be banned from the local water source.
Every year North Point partners with Gospel for Asia to place Jesus Wells in villages and communities that need them. These wells are open to all regardless of social standings or religious beliefs and allow a place for local missionaries to demonstrate the love of Jesus and share his Gospel.
Our goal this year is to place six wells in India. Please join us in helping reach those communities.
